COMPANIES THAT HAVE PLACED THEIR TRUST IN US IN IPSWICH
Ipswich is the county town of Suffolk and the largest urban centre for a long way in any direction, so the orders that exist here concentrate rather than spread. Whatever you ride or drive, there is a company that will match.

"I had been driving for years but never knew how to get onto the bigger platforms. Service Club matched me with three companies that suit my schedule."
"The paperwork alone used to put me off. Service Club handled everything, background checks, insurance docs. Now I earn more and stress less."
"I was juggling three different courier apps before Service Club. They sorted me out with a single contract and I was delivering for two companies within 48h."
Hourly rates depend on the vehicle, the time of day and how many companies you stack. These are typical Ipswich ranges, with peak figures from drivers running multiple apps during surge hours.
Every range starts at the National Living Wage, £12.71 an hour since April 2026, because that is the floor for employed shifts. Self-employed work has no hourly floor underneath it, and those figures are gross revenue before vehicle costs, tax and service fees. Actual earnings depend on hours worked, area covered and how many companies you sign up with through Service Club.
Service Club ® connects Ipswich couriers, riders and drivers to top companies faster, with less paperwork and more support.
Apply once and get matched to multiple Ipswich companies. No repeating the same forms across different apps.
Pick your hours, your vehicle and your area. Go full-time, top up at weekends, or grab a few peak shifts. You decide when and how much you work.
Discounts on fuel, food, gear, mobile data and entertainment. Built specifically for delivery work.
Service Club is free for you. We earn from the companies we connect you to, never from your earnings.
No exclusivity. Run Uber Eats and Deliveroo in parallel, or pick up scheduled parcel blocks on quiet days. Your call.
Real humans you can reach when something goes wrong on a delivery, not just an app chatbot.
Ipswich is the county town of Suffolk and one of the oldest continuously settled towns in England, founded as the Anglo-Saxon trading port of Gipeswic. The borough held 144,957 people at the 2021 census, and the real built-up area is larger again once Kesgrave, Martlesham Heath, Rushmere St Andrew and Pinewood are counted, all of which run straight into the town without a gap. It is the largest urban centre for a long way in any direction, which matters for delivery work: orders concentrate here instead of spreading thinly across a dozen competing towns.
The centre is compact and walkable, built around the Cornhill and Westgate Street, and the Waterfront on the old Wet Dock has been rebuilt over the past two decades into the busiest evening destination in town, with the University of Suffolk sitting on the quayside and a run of restaurants and bars along it. The housing around it is close-packed and mostly Victorian: Stoke, Chantry, Whitton, Castle Hill, Gainsborough, Priory Heath and the newer Ravenswood estate on the old airport site. Portman Road is a ten minute walk from the Cornhill, and an Ipswich Town home fixture reliably lifts food demand across the whole centre for an afternoon or an evening.
Suffolk operates no charging Clean Air Zone anywhere in the county, so an older car or van costs nothing extra to run in Ipswich and there is no zone within easy reach to catch you out. Food delivery by bike, e-bike or on foot needs no licence. Motorised delivery needs a valid UK driving licence, insurance that covers delivery use and a valid MOT. Private hire work for Uber or Bolt needs a licence from Ipswich Borough Council, or from East Suffolk or Babergh if you live on that side of the boundary. Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat all cover the town.
The other half of the market here is logistics, and it is unusually strong for a town this size. The A14 runs along the northern and western edge and carries traffic to the Port of Felixstowe, twelve miles to the south east, which is by a wide margin the busiest container port in the country and handles roughly half of Britain's containerised trade. The industrial estates strung along that corridor exist because of it. The Port of Ipswich itself still works the Orwell, and BT's Adastral Park research campus at Martlesham Heath employs several thousand people a few miles east of the centre. Amazon, DPD and Evri all work the area, so scheduled parcel blocks are realistic here in a way they are not in most Suffolk towns.

Ipswich is covered along with the suburbs that run into it, Kesgrave, Martlesham, Rushmere St Andrew and Pinewood, and the towns along the A14 and A12 either side. Drivers based here also pick up work towards Felixstowe, Woodbridge and Stowmarket, where the parcel and port traffic is heaviest.
No. Suffolk operates no charging Clean Air Zone anywhere in the county, so your vehicle costs you nothing extra to run in Ipswich whatever its emissions rating, and unlike the Midlands or the South East there is no zone close enough to catch you out on a longer job.
Yes, and it is a real part of the market here. Felixstowe is twelve miles south east of Ipswich and is the busiest container port in the country, handling roughly half of Britain's containerised trade, and the industrial estates along the A14 between the two exist to serve it. That makes scheduled parcel and multi-drop blocks more available around Ipswich than in most towns of its size. Van and car drivers get the most from it.
For food delivery by bike, e-bike or on foot, no. Motorised delivery needs a valid UK driving licence, insurance that covers delivery use and a valid MOT. Private hire work for Uber or Bolt needs a licence from Ipswich Borough Council, or from East Suffolk or Babergh if you are based outside the borough boundary.
Yes. Kesgrave, Martlesham Heath, Rushmere St Andrew and Pinewood run into Ipswich without a break and no company treats them as a separate patch. Adastral Park at Martlesham brings several thousand people east of the centre on weekdays, which makes that side worth working at lunchtime. Tell us your postcode at signup and we will show you what is live near you.
No. Service Club is free for drivers and riders. We earn from the companies we connect you to, never from you. You keep 100% of what you earn from the companies themselves.
